Justice Abhijeet Ganguly of the Calcutta High Court has declared his intention to resign from his judicial post, citing repeated objectionable comments made by the ruling state party. He plans to submit his resignation to the Chief Justice of the High Court and the Justice of the Supreme Court. Additionally, Justice Ganguly hinted at venturing into the political sphere, although he has not disclosed which party he intends to join for his potential candidacy.
